So let me introduce today's guest. Her name is Meri Ilich. I absolutely loved meeting her. I had the opportunity to get to know her through another friend, and honestly, when you see that kind of person and think, does she really do all that? I said, no, I want to meet her.
So, I had a small meeting with her beforehand, and now we welcome Meri. Thank you so much for coming.
Thank you for inviting me. It is a pleasure and an honor.
And I should also mention that it is hard to catch her because she travels around the world, so having her here is a privilege. Also, the fact that she studied with Brian Weiss seemed amazing to me. I have read his books for years. I do not know if you know Many Lives, Many Masters. I think it is one of the pioneering books and one of the most successful ones, right?
So first, we are going to go a little into Meri's story, into who she is, how her life really began, and then how she moved toward this world of regressions.
Meri, what is your life like? Who is Meri?
All right, if we go many years back, once upon a time there was a little girl named Meri, because her father liked Mary Poppins, and that was the first sign that I was going to travel the world, flying, though now by plane.
Not with an umbrella.
Ilich comes from far away, from Vladimir Ilyich Lenin, from some family from Russia that later spread all over the world. So, when this girl was six years old and people asked her what she was going to do with her life, without even understanding what that meant, she would say, "I am going to travel the world and teach people how to be happy."
Oh, how beautiful.
And the adults would laugh, and she did not understand why they were laughing, because this was her mission.
She already knew.
Yes, but later she forgot. She forgot what this was like and what it really meant, because at that time the profession of coaching did not even exist.
No, not at all. Where were you born?
I was born in Croatia, but at that time it was Yugoslavia. It was a very big, very beautiful country with 20 million inhabitants and six different provinces. Zagreb was the capital of Croatia and Belgrade was the capital of all Yugoslavia.
But by the time I finished university, the problems had already begun after the death of President Tito. From a country of six provinces, in the end each province became a small country.
And that is when, ah, okay, I see.
I say that with every coffee world politicians had together, the country became smaller.
Wow. Well, those are stories that really move us sometimes, but in the end it is not in our hands, right? What can we do? Travel the world?
It is the only thing we can do.
So then, you were saying this at six years old. What did you study? Because I imagine it is the usual thing, I go to university, I have to study something.
I had many doubts between three careers: psychology, economics because I always loved being entrepreneurial, and languages, English and German.
I think you are using all three now.
In the end I decided on English, so I could travel the world.
Of course, good choice, good choice.
I found psychology through coaching and emotional therapies. And with economics I am always starting some kind of business. So my idea for the future is to have several businesses.
So you studied English. And what happened to Meri? Did you meet someone? Did you get married? What happened next? I imagine you lived with your dad and mom.
Yes, Meri was very dreamy, as always and as she still is now. She wrote poetry, she wrote her books but did not publish them, she finished her studies, and she had a very, very strict father.
So in the end she got married just to leave home, as often happens.
As often happens.
And she made a mistake in choosing a husband.
Do you think we make mistakes? There I disagree a little. Do you think we make mistakes, Meri? Or is it all something we are meant to live through?
Ah, always. We will come back to that at the end. That question belongs to another part.
From the point of view of the old Meri, I made a mistake with my husband, but I did not make a mistake with the father of my children, because I have wonderful children.
Good answer, excellent. So then, you got married.
I got married and... and I got divorced.
You had children.
I had two children in that marriage, two wonderful children, and then the war started.
Right, the war started.
I began working for the United Nations as a translator and in humanitarian aid, and in those two years there you see many things that you cannot see from the outside.
So you understand that all this is a global theater prepared many years in advance, because in a communist and socialist country they say that a war of three religions broke out. And it makes me laugh.
Why?
Because in communism there is no religion.
Yes, exactly.
And nobody asked how a religious war could break out if there was no religion.
At that time I was in Serbia, in Nis, where my parents are from, and after the divorce I went to work in Vukovar, which is in the middle of three provinces. So I was always around many nationalities, 27 different nationalities, and the conflict there was the worst, and I worked there for two years.
And your children were with you. At that time, this was not yet the field you work in now.
The issue was helping people, and looking back now it was a bit funny, because since I was born in Croatia, the Serbs thought I was Croatian. Since I spoke proper Serbian, because there is a slight difference between Serbian and Croatian, they thought I was Serbian, and so on.
Everyone thought I belonged to the other side, and I was neutral. My work was to help.
Of course, of course. Well, people like us, even yoga teachers, it is not about a country or even a city. Sometimes people ask me, to give a simple example, with what is happening now in the World Cup, whether I will support Argentina or Peru, and I do not care.
To be honest, if I have to choose, I choose Peru, but I feel like I belong to the world. I do not feel like I belong to one country or one place. I feel part of something much bigger than geography. So that is what Meri is talking about here, that help is for everyone.
And meanwhile, what about your children at that time? Were they studying?
They were very young. I divorced when they were seven and eleven, but they were with me.
And they stayed with you?
They were with me the whole time, but when I saw what was happening in the war and when I saw the lies behind all of it, I decided to leave and go to Spain. But first, with my children, I visited their father and in front of him I said, I am leaving. If you stay, I will help you, I will send money, and I will come when I can.
And you were leaving, but what did leaving mean?
Leaving everything behind.
Leaving to go out into the world.
No, not at that moment. At that time I thought I would go to Spain and live there, and I decided to go to Spain because of astrology.
Oh, look at that.
There is a branch called astrocartography, so you compare your birth chart with that of a city.
And it came out that there would be less suffering in Barcelona. Sometimes I am afraid to think that if I had chosen the place with more suffering, where would I have ended up.
So if I want to move somewhere else in the world, how interesting, I could ask Caro or you, where to? Ah, that is a good tip. A really good tip. It is one of the hardest decisions. Caro is giving us a little guidance here, but yes, that sounds like a very good piece of advice, right?
So, you chose Spain. Did your children go with you?
Yes, because the younger one said, "I cannot live without Mom," and the older one, at nine and a half, said, "Serbia is too small for my talent." And now he is in Peru.
And now he is in Peru. That is a story in itself. We will get to that point soon.
So you went to Spain, and at what point do you begin to connect with this whole subject of regressions? Was it there in Spain that you started to discover that world?
I connected with it, but not through Spain, through America, because things arrive in Spain a little later, while in America many things start earlier. I found this book, Many Lives, Many Masters.
If you have not read it, it is amazing, buy it.
Before that, I created a socio-cultural association, Casa Eslava, and there I started helping people. Because they say that if you have a problem, like being an immigrant, the best way to overcome it is to start helping people who have the same problem.
Of course, of course.
So I set it up, and at the same time I found Brian Weiss through Google, then his book, and I began to learn many things remotely...
I did not know you could study with him. When Meri told me she had studied with him, I said, seriously? I did not know that was possible.
Yes, in the end I got certified, but at a seminar. He came to Rome, and I got certified there along with 600 other people. All therapists from different parts of the world, and there I realized I was not the only crazy one. And that was a relief for me.
No, no, no. There are many of us, many of us. So then, what was it like, I mean, how do you study this? Obviously in summary form, right? How do you study regression? Or maybe let us go a little further back first. What are regressions?
Regressions are about going to memories of your past lives, going back, traveling into the past. My workshop is called Journey to the Past.
The workshop tomorrow, well, later we will share the details. So it is going back to the past for what purpose?
To look for the causes of things that happen to you in this life. Many people go out of curiosity, but I recommend going in order to search for and find something.
I think nowadays we are all in a much deeper search. I see it because I receive students, and it happens to me that sometimes they come looking for a yoga teacher and we end up talking.
I spend the whole session talking, and people cry, not knowing what to do or where to go, and I think, wow. So that search is there. That is why Meri says it is not out of curiosity, it is in order to try to find something, right? Because I think human beings are always searching for something.
So material things are no longer enough, they are done, I mean, they are done. I do not know, I think they just do not fill us anymore, so we start looking for alternatives, right? To see how we fill ourselves or how we find those things.
And that is where regression comes in, right? So it is going into the past to understand why certain things happen to me, yes? And can I go into the past to understand and heal?
Yes, but it is not that simple. It is not fast food, it is not fast healing. You do not just go to this and, as therapists, we would like it to be abracadabra, but it is not.
You go and you find things, but sometimes you do not find what you were looking for. Because you ask a question, for example, why do I not have a home right now, and instead of that I get another answer. And then after thinking about it and analyzing it, I understand that this answer was much more important than my question, because my brain asked the question and the answer was given to my heart.
When I had my session with Meri, she told me, ask whatever question you want, but suddenly your soul may not want to give you that answer. It may take you somewhere else because you are focused on something that is not really important right now, so just listen, right?
So that is what she is saying, right? That you can ask something, but suddenly your soul says, well, that is not what matters right now, I am going to take you in another direction, right?
This subject of souls gives me goosebumps.
It is like when you think you are hungry, but really you are thirsty, and someone gives you water instead of food because they know you will die sooner from not drinking water.
Exactly, exactly. But let us pause for a moment on what regressions are and go back to... you studied in Spain... and something you told me in the meeting we had together is that at one point you said, "I am going to travel the world."
So tell us a little about that story, that part of such an important decision to travel the world, right?
Yes, that was my plan, but for years. When I created the foundation, I told everyone, in five years I will leave you to continue, and I am going out into the world with my books, because I am a writer and I have three books, and I was planning to do my theater work, which I do, and go from one city to another.
But my younger son moved ahead of me. He was working in Hamburg and he said to me, "Mom, I want to leave my job in Europe and go to Bali." Because, he said, "I do not want to live in order to work."
Look at that, what a good decision.
Because both of my sons work in IT, and he decided to drastically change his life. So I had thought I would first save money and then leave, and he said, "No, you are coming with me and we will see how things work out." So we made the first trip around the world together, mother and son, for a year and a half.
But all three of you? No, just two.
The two of us. The older one was already in Peru.
And on that trip around the world, how many countries did you visit during that time?
Not that many. I think it was 12 countries and 44 cities, because we do not like to just fly through a country, we like to feel it.
Of course, of course, of course.
In Tokyo and Kyoto we spent almost two months in Japan. In Bali we spent four months. There my son fell in love with a girl, and I fell in love with yoga. Each of us on our own path.
And then I imagine that if your son fell in love, he stayed there.
Yes, that is where we ended the first trip, and he stayed.
And he stayed in Bali.
He told me, Bali is calling me.
And you continued alone?
The second trip was like that.
And the other son?
He is in Peru. He got married about eight years ago, more or less.
That is why Meri is here.
Peru is lucky that my son is here.
Peru is lucky that Meri comes from time to time to visit her son.
So, one of your sons stayed here, the other one is in Bali, and you, according to what we talked about last time, are now on your second trip around the world.
Yes, this one is already coming to an end. On Wednesday I return to Barcelona, and in November, starting with India, from Barcelona to India, I begin the third round.
Can you imagine a life where you say, you know what, I am letting go of everything, and as we were talking before the show, Meri was saying you do not need that much money to travel, because she was telling the story of how she needed a few things and exchanged her knowledge for what she needed.
She did sessions in exchange for what she needed. So if you really think about it, you do not need much money to travel. We believe, and we have this belief, that we need luxury, a hotel, a car, but in reality you do not need that much.
So, we are going to take a break, and I will leave you with this reflection. How much do you really need to live, and how much would you need to travel around the world? Because sometimes we say, no, that is impossible. I do not think so. So I leave you with that question, we are taking a break and we will be right back.
We are back, Yogadictos, Rena, I miss you, where are you? Although she did send a little photo, a little greeting. All right, we continue with Meri.
Let us go a little deeper now into this topic of regressions. Because I actually experienced it myself.
I was lucky enough to have a session with Meri. And it really is, I do not know if there is a word to describe it. But it is very... comforting, like finding yourself through this. I think it is really something real, which is your soul.
So, when you study with Brian Weiss, what path follows from there? You finish, you get certified?
And from there, how do you begin saying, "Okay, I do regressions"? So how do you begin that path? Because it is difficult. I imagine there are still people who say, "Oh, that." I mean, they look at you strangely, right? Yes or no?
A lot of people say that. They tell me, "Oh, I do not believe in this." I had a case with someone who works in acupuncture, and the whole time while we were talking he kept saying that he did not believe in this, but now he believes in Meri Ilich.
Of course, he does not believe in this, but with you he believed. All right, all right. Where is this person from? From here, from Peru?
From Arequipa. I am very fond of him.
If he is listening, we send him our regards.
Yes, I am sure he will listen.
And where did you begin? I mean, you studied in Spain. What was your first regression?
Uf, in Barcelona, a long time ago. But I did it with friends, friends of friends.
That is how we all begin.
That is how it begins, and first I had it within myself.
Can you do it on yourself?
Yes, and regressions come to you even without looking for them. Once you open your channel, it starts little by little.
Truthfully, in the session she did with me, she told me, just so you know, you are going to keep receiving... answers.
Yes, for 15 days after doing a regression, it continues. And then if you are a receptive person, it keeps going.
How wonderful.
But for me, the bigger, bigger change began with this second round.
With the second round, the one you started. How long have you been traveling right now, Meri?
On this last round, since July of the previous year. Exactly one year.
Wow, you are about to make it a full year. And how long does it take you to complete one trip around the world?
It depends. With my son we did a year and a half. Now one year, and for the last one I want two years.
So it will be three, right? That detail was missing. Meri is going to do three trips around the world, everyone. That is incredible. It really makes you completely jealous, right?
I am looking for my new home.
So there will come a moment when Meri says, okay, this is where I stay.
Yes. And I think it will be somewhere between here and Canada. We will see.
So, America. Meri, and... how many regressions do you do since...? Well, I do not know whether you remember since the beginning. But let us say, in your first year, on that trip. How many regressions can you do in that time? In a month, in a week... a lot?
A lot can be done, but you do not always have the opportunity to do them.
Of course. Because you keep moving.
Yes, yes, yes.
And, let us see, how do people reach you? Because I came to you through a friend. That is how it was, right? By word of mouth...
It is very interesting because I was not planning to do them.
That is where I wanted to get. You did not know you were going to dedicate yourself to this?
No, because my first career is as an English teacher and I work with online translations. So with online English classes and translations, I manage my travel. I cover my expenses.
Of course.
I started with 200 euros on my card in Barcelona... and I am still going like that.
Look at that.
It is as if those 200 euros always get replenished whenever I reach zero. Suddenly 200 euros arrive.
And something we talked about the last time we met is that when you trust the universe and surrender yourself to this universal energy with trust, you will never be without food.
You will never be without a roof. The problem is when we begin to panic, and fear starts creating a vibration.
But what Meri was telling me is that she never lacked anything, that it was always as if she was being received, welcomed. And that is important because sometimes, as you were saying a little while ago, do you really need that much money to leave?
But look, magical things happen. I say, people often tell me that I live in the clouds, but I really have a life...
I see you as very grounded.
And I am very grounded. But, for example, coming back from the Amazon, I had already traveled on different boats along the Amazon River, and on the way back I took several buses to the border of Peru, Brazil, and Bolivia. And on the second to last day before reaching Peru, I ran out of cash and my card did not work. And I did not know that the bank in Spain had blocked it, because they thought that at my age it could not be possible that every two days I was in another city.
Of course, it seemed strange to them.
Yes, they thought it had been stolen.
But the bank was being cautious.
Yes. And then the girl in the restaurant tried three times, it did not go through, and she said, "It does not matter." And I walked toward the exit thinking, okay, it does not matter, today I will not eat and tomorrow I will already be in Peru. And she said, "No, it does not matter, stay and eat."
There it is. That is what we are talking about. She told you, no, it does not matter, eat. You are not going to go without food.
Yes. And in my head and in my mind I could not process that someone would let me eat for free in a restaurant.
Of course, of course. That is what I mean, right? When you are on that frequency, things happen that are little miracles. I mean, the miracle is not walking on water.
You should not start a journey thinking that they are going to give you everything for free everywhere.
No, no, of course. I mean...
That is not the message.
Of course, it is not that you are going to... Well, you can go, if you want to, if you have some gift or some skill like what Meri does, you can travel the world carrying that with you too. But you always have to keep some savings.
But I always thought, look, at least I know how to wash dishes, and with five languages I can work at some reception desk. There will always be something if I run out of money.
Of course. Now, going back to the subject of regressions, what is this world of connecting with people's souls like? Because I imagine that you connect with the person's soul.
I had a session with Meri and I really did feel that... I felt her presence. It was not that I was alone and... No, I felt the presence and it was not physical. So how is your connection with so many souls? How do you handle that?
I call myself the Soul Whisperer, and this journey has truly made me enter another dimension.
I cannot explain what it is like, but on these journeys I first found my own past lives. I received visions in historical places here in Latin America, earlier in Italy, and I had visions of my lives. And with every vision I had of my lives, I also had more perception when I worked with clients. And it was not that I looked for clients, they found me.
They found you.
It happened to me that I met a person with whom I shared a dining table in Atacama in Chile, and she told me that she had come especially to find me.
Oh no, that is a phenomenal story. I think you should tell it... I mean... really tell it.
It is an incredible story, to find yourself in the Atacama desert with someone who is looking for you. It is like I go out for a walk and meet someone in the desert and they tell me, "I was looking for you, I had a vision." I do not know whether she had a vision of you.
She had a message from beyond. Because she is a medium.
She is a medium, imagine that.
And through a client she received a message that during those two days she had to be in Atacama, in that cave restaurant, and wait for a woman who was a disciple of Brian Weiss. But without having my photo, they did not send her my photo. And she was there one day, and the next day, during those two hours, I came in and there were the only two empty seats at a shared table.
At a shared table.
And so we sat down, and word by word we talked about therapy, and suddenly she said to me, "Are you a disciple of Brian Weiss?" And I just sat there thinking, what is this about?
Of course.
I said yes, but how does she know? And she explained to me that she is a medium, that she had received a message. So then I said, but for what purpose? Why would someone from beyond send you a message and you, from Santiago de Chile, take a plane so that in two months you can be here?
Exactly.
And she said that it was already time for me to begin, that I was already taking too long.
Begin what? That is the question.
And I said, but Brian Weiss already exists. He is already doing it. There are many therapists. And she said, "Yes, but you also signed a contract before arriving here, that you would bring the truth closer to people. That you would open their eyes."
You signed a contract, she was referring to your previous life. In other lives. To your soul.
In another dimension.
In another dimension you signed a contract.
We all sign or agree, we all have an agreement.
What did I sign? That is the question. What on earth did I sign? I still have to discover it.
Yes, it can be discovered.
So when she told you that, you said well, maybe yes.
No, I got scared. I got scared. To be honest, because I wanted to travel the world. Now what do they want?
Of course.
And she says, and I say, but how am I going to do it? And she says, first we can do a workshop in Santiago de Chile.
I said okay, in four or five months because I am going to stay in Montevideo. I have friends in Montevideo, I will stay four or five months. And she said, "No, it will be sooner, but all right... believe whatever you want." And truly I did not stay four or five months in Montevideo.
You did not stay.
No, only one month. And on the last day before leaving. In the hostel, because I am always in hostels with young people and... a girl kept trying to get to know me, trying and trying, and I avoided her because I already wanted to leave. And in the morning, when I put on my backpack, she said, "Excuse me, I cannot let you leave without asking what you do for a living."
And by then I was already feeling, already understanding vibrations, and I told her that I work with regressions, with past lives. Because before that I would say, "I am a writer, a traveler..."
Of course, of course. It is a good point, saying I work with past life regressions. It is kind of shocking. People are like... But fine.
Yes, now I have changed.
Yes, I love it. When I introduced you, I wrote, Meri — Regressions.
Yes.
I think what you do is phenomenal.
And she said to me, "I have been looking for you." I said, that cannot be, how? "I am a psychologist from Buenos Aires. I dreamed that I had to be in this hostel..."
No, I am dying.
"...to find a woman who works in this."
Anyone listening who does not believe much must be thinking, she is making this up, but...
I do not believe myself sometimes either, but it is true.
These things really do happen, everyone. If you open your eyes a little and stay attentive, small miracles happen every day.
So these two women organized workshops for me. They organized workshops for me in Buenos Aires, then in Santiago de Chile. After that they were held in Lima, and tomorrow we are doing...
Tomorrow, later we will give the information. There will be a workshop. And in these workshops what do you more or less do? Do you explain this topic a little...?
Yes, we explain the subject, we explain the path of the soul, we explain life mandates. There are many things that cannot all be covered in one workshop.
The topic is super interesting. And now when you introduce yourself as someone who does regressions, past lives, what is people's reaction? How do they take it? Do they say, "Okay, I want it," because when they told me, I said, "Okay, where? Where do I sign?"
Look, I just read an interview with a doctor from Colombia, because I have just returned from Colombia, who said that she works with alternative medicine and that one day when a client arrived, she saw a young man standing beside him. And she asked him, "Did you come with someone?" The client said no, but she kept seeing a young man beside him, smiling. So she asked him again, "But did no one come with you?" And he looked at her and said, "No, I am alone." So she realized it was a soul. And she asked, "Has someone died?" He said, "Yes, two days ago, my son." So she said that from that moment on she had a dilemma: either she would explain what she truly saw and everyone would think she was crazy, or she would disappoint souls and pretend not to see them. And she decided to tell everyone what she saw, and whoever wanted to believe would come. That was the point I was at.
Of course.
Either say that I am a little crazy and that these things happen to me, or...
...say I am a translator.
So I decided to accept it because I see the results.
Of course.
People already have a change by the next day. And within 15 days they already see life differently. So I am very proud, but I feel that I did not choose it myself.
You had no other option.
They push me.
Just yesterday I was talking, I do not remember with whom. I do not know if this has happened to you, Meri, that when you want to move away from your path, things start happening to bring you back closer.
Yes.
And if you still do not listen, then stronger, heavier things start happening... It is like the universe tells you, "No, okay. Since you are not listening the easy way, you are going to listen the hard way." So that is what happened to you, the sign.
And look, in Colombia, in that hostel I did not say anything about what I do, but by walking into a computer store, I ended up with two clients. And later they talked to others, and on the last day, when I was about to leave, there were all these young people around me, about seven of them, and they said, "But what did you work in? Why did you come here?" And when I told them, they were left speechless... and all of them saved my WhatsApp so they could receive updates and know when I would return here. And they told me, "You made a mistake by not introducing yourself on the first day."
There it is. That is a sign.
You have to say, "I am Meri Ilich, I travel, this is what I do," and put up a notice so people know. Because I said, "But I am modest." And they said, "No. You took away our opportunity to have a unique experience."
Exactly. Exactly.
And I was left thinking that it is true, of course.
Of course. Of course.
It is not about whether I am modest or proud. It is about helping people and giving them the opportunity.
Correct, I loved that. It is about simply saying it, and whoever wants to... You do not even have to think whether you are modest or not, you simply say it. And there will be one, two, three, four, five people who will read it. In fact, I bet some people will not even read it. But the person who needs to read it will read it.
Yes.
We are keeping that reflection, with what Meri is telling us, right, that because she would not say that she was... that she did regressions, she preferred not to say anything. So look now at how life itself led her to say what she does. So from now on she is traveling and putting up her little sign in hostels saying that she does regressions. And that is it, now she is in Lima. She is staying one week, later we will share the phone number for those who are "reading" that she does regressions. And they can call her. We will be back in a few minutes. We are going to a break.
Yogadictos, we continue, we continue, and this is a program that I personally wish would last about four hours because these topics have always fascinated me. So, well, Caro is here with us. She appeared out of nowhere, Caro. She is going to join us for this final segment, and later she will give us the astrological climate for the coming week. Back to Meri. So, Meri, we left off in the previous segment with Meri now introducing herself as someone who does regressions. And now, if possible, I would love for her to tell us about some cases. Some relevant cases that she knows truly created these changes in people. Some case, Meri, that you can tell us about. An impactful case. Well, you must have several.
Yes, they are all impactful. Unlike Brian Weiss, I do not work with hypnosis. I like the person to be with me the whole time. I am with them. We exchange, it is interactive. The person feels supported. We have even managed to do it at a distance.
I did not know that was possible.
Yes, it was very interesting because I did not know it could be done that way. But we said, okay, let us try with a client from Argentina whom I already knew. But it is important that I had known her before. In the end it may not seem that way, but for me it was more important so I myself would have more confidence. The whole time my brain kept saying you will not be able to do it, but my heart wanted to continue, and she needed to continue. At first it was with WhatsApp video, but she felt uncomfortable with the camera and told me, "I am stopping." So I sent her messages and we continued through messages, and we achieved it.
Wow!
Then afterward I discovered that yes, it can be done, that people do it over Skype, but until now none over WhatsApp.
It makes me think, right? This just came to mind. If... how do phones communicate, with energy?
In the end it is not about the phone. With any tool, the tool only gives you a kind of, okay, you can do it. But it is about energy moving through the air...
How does the session begin? Obviously I know because I had one. But more or less, for those who are listening, those who are not actually seeing us, and who might be interested in doing a session with Meri, what is the session like?
First we talk about present life, about problems, or it may not be a problem, but there is something you need to see, how it is going to turn out. And why it is not going straight, but going like this.
Because the same situation always repeats.
And then we go into deep relaxation. I accompany you. And on this latest journey, that ability of mine to enter your life with you has developed a lot.
She entered with me.
So I can enter with you, or I prefer to wait for you to enter first.
Of course. What we did together was that I entered first and then you entered with me.
If I enter first, I may find another life that could be important, but not as clearly.
Of course, of course.
But your soul knows what it needs.
Exactly, exactly.
Because I am going to look for an answer to this question, and your soul is going to look for what is most important.
Of course.
So when you enter and begin with a thread, I go in behind you and we begin to go together. But I let you be the guide and you explain what you see. And in that case you are going to say that you see two women in front of you, that you see a screen.
Everyone, I assure you that you see. I mean, you do see. I assure you that you see. There is no magic. I did not take anything or any hallucinogen. Obviously your eyes are closed, right? But you see, and Meri was guiding you and you begin to see. And that, in the end, all of it leads you to that answer. More or less, because you still have to keep changing. As Meri says, it is not, I do not know, like astrology. Someone reads my chart and tomorrow everything is fine. No, it is... all the time... So then what?
While you see what is in front of you, I see what is behind you. So when in the end you finish everything you wanted to say and there is no more... I do not know, it is over, I explain to you what I saw. And we come back to the present moment and together we look and build the picture. What does what we saw have to do with the question or with your present situation?
And do you always see? I mean, or do you sometimes only hear?
I will tell you how I see. It is not that I see with my eyes. It is with the soul. I say with the tips of my fingers.
Yes.
Good is subtle. Very subtle.
Very subtle. So, okay, you do the regression, all of that. And is there any case that has marked you in this whole story, in this period of doing regressions, that you could share with us?
There are many cases. Truly many. And they are stronger here than in Europe. I do not know why, or maybe my ability has developed much more.
You are in a... Well, I do not know whether you have been to Puno, to Cusco, those are places, they are places of energy.
Yes. I was in Cusco on December 31 at midnight. In the main square.
Wow! How beautiful. What madness. Have you ever been in Cusco on the night of the 31st? I spent two years there. The main square is madness. My God. At some point you have to leave because fireworks start falling in your face. No, seriously, it is dangerous. I do not know, if you go, go, but be careful at exactly midnight...
But it is magical. And the next day you continue on to Machu Picchu.
Ah, wonderful. Beautiful. So, what are you going to tell us?
Ah, something interesting. A curious detail. A young man wanted to see why his father did not have good communication with him. And it was one of the few cases where nothing could be seen. Nothing could be seen and we could not do anything. So we returned to the present moment and I asked him, "But does your father have communication with other people?" He said no. That is why we could not see anything, because it is not your issue. It is your father's issue.
Ah, okay, okay, okay.
So we had to formulate a different question. The soul, his soul in particular, was not going that way. And then with another woman, she could not see anything. So when she sees nothing, I tell her, try to touch. Try to stand up. Try to feel yourself. And she started touching and describing to me what she felt. And then I entered that moment and realized that she was blind. And by touching I realized that she was in a basement, in something very ugly, very poor, and that she never left that room. And I realized that she lived in Bolivia in the previous century, that she was born blind and that they hid her so no one would know.
And what effects did that have on her present life?
Let us go back. Then we went to another life, we asked for something more because we did not understand what was happening. And she sees a curtain and then darkness. And she says I see a red curtain and darkness. And I do not understand, it is like a flash, a red curtain and then it goes dark. And then I see in front of the curtain her husband living in France in the sixteenth century, her husband with his servant. And she goes blind when she sees them. She moves the curtain, sees them, and goes blind. And she lived her whole life blind.
What happens? In her present life... First, I did not know because I was saying to myself, "Meri, now you are a writer and you are inventing this. This is no longer soul, soul, now it is your creativity."
Of course.
Because two blind lives, for what? I do not understand. And when we came back, she said to me, "I did not tell you that I was born with eye problems. They operated on me at the very moment I was born."
It is that sometimes karmas are not from one life. They are karmas that have a cycle of one, three, until you break that karma.
So what did it have to do with her current situation? That with her current partner she did not want to see certain things.
Ah, okay. Now we are getting there.
Her eyesight was fine...
...but she did not want to see.
Yes.
So there is her... what would you say was the door that opened for her?
Her blind spot. In love, sometimes, we have a blind spot.
Of course. The blind spot. So now that is her work. Because speaking about how it does not stay only on the day of the regression but continues afterward, that means she then had to begin to see.
And afterward, not with everyone, but where I see that it helps and can be useful, we do regression toward the future.
You did that with me.
Yes, with you I did.
I liked it, I liked it.
Very beautiful. And until now, only once has it happened to me that at the same time you and I see the same thing.
We saw the same thing. We saw the same thing.
Because I saw it and I could not believe it. So I asked her, "Open your agenda. Open your agenda and tell me what you see." And she saw the same thing.
I saw the agenda. She made me see an agenda on the computer, see the schedule. No, beautiful. It is a good experience.
...in five years and it was...
Yes, yes.
We saw the same schedule... So why do they say, but how can you see the future? The future is not written. When they tell you that everything is written in books? No. Possibilities are written. It is like a possible map of your life. But on a map, at a traffic light, if it is red, you should wait. But there are people who will not wait. They will cross. There are people who will wait too long. And there are people who will never cross.
So, free will. I mean, it is your path, but not necessarily.
Let us say it is the strongest path marked out.
There is free will there, you can choose.
And it is not an obligation.
It is not an obligation.
It is always your final word. Because many people told me... I stayed 20 years in Barcelona. And they told me I took 10 years too long to leave. And that because of this, things are now going to happen to me in such an accelerated way.
Fast. Fast.
And I notice it.
Yes, we waste time. That also happens to me, that I waste time on worldly things and keep turning things over in my mind. And then... then everything starts happening to me all at once.
Yes.
Now we get stuck, right?
When it comes, it all comes together.
All together. That too.
Yes. But everything depends. If it is bad, well, it depends on your reaction.
Also. Because this dual world that labels good and bad, actually I do not know whether it is good or bad. It is. It just is. Well then, is there any case that frightened you?
More than frightening me, it frightened the person who saw it. I, as I told you, always let people find the life themselves.
Okay.
And when they found it, it was hard. Because sometimes they are not the same sex.
Of course, of course.
And you only see... until now, only two people who were the opposite sex. And she saw herself in the role of a murderous man.
Wow, how intense.
And it was really very intense. I needed a lot afterward to calm her down, so that she could understand that this person is not who she is in this life, and that we also do not know and cannot judge.
No, of course.
Because we do not know why, nor what illness, nor what childhood, nothing.
Of course, of course.
How many factors must have been behind all of that?
Exactly.
And then with another girl we saw a life where she had been kidnapped and abused for years and years. In America.
So that is the karma you carry and that manifests in some way and puts these obstacles in your way. Hard, really hard.
Yes.
Strong. And then her work is also... I mean, within this session, are there final recommendations from you, like "now that you know this, you can do this," or is it something you have to discover by yourself?
We try to discover it together. I do not usually give directions. I am not the one who has to decide.
Okay.
Because one person asked me, "Should I stay with my partner?"
No, well, of course.
And I said, look, let us do a regression toward the future, but look. In his regression toward the future, he saw himself with a completely different partner. I said, do you need my answer or do you already have it?
Of course.
And two days ago he wrote to me that something very serious happened and he broke it off.
There it is.
But there is also an issue with people who take this kind of therapy. They want the correct answer, right? They want you to tell them, "Leave your partner."
Of course not.
And people do not realize that in the end the choice is theirs. They cannot be asking someone else to tell them what to do, because afterward if what they did is not what they wanted, or the result is not what they expected, they want someone to blame.
That is exactly it.
So people need to take responsibility for regressions too.
They pass the responsibility on to you.
Regression is a tool. In every sense it is a tool, I believe in it one hundred percent and I have believed in regressions for years because I read Brian Weiss, I think I was 15 years old when I read Many Lives, Many Masters. I think everyone read it at 15. And I believed in it completely... and in the cases too, because the book presents cases.
So it gives you the cases and everything that happens to people makes sense with what they lived in that life. Completely coherent. So if you have not read it, it is a good option. The book is very interesting. And if not that one, then Meri's books. Meri, your books.
Yes, I think next year there will be a book about this journey and everything I have lived through.
World wanderer, soul wanderer.
I just want to explain one case of a young man from whom I felt fear the whole time. Fear radiated from him. I would say, "But relax," and he would tell me, "I am relaxed." But I felt his fear inside me.
Of course.
And well, in the end we did manage it and we saw things and everything. And when it ended, I asked him, "What were you afraid of?" And he said, "Of the things you can see. And what you will think of me if they are bad." So I explained to him: first of all, regression therapists and all therapists... We cannot judge anyone. There are no prejudices. There is no good or bad. Everything is neutral, and it serves a purpose.
Exactly.
So that is that.
That is a good point, yes. I think that is something holistic therapists in general share, which is not judging. We do not know anyone's life.
Because people expect that they are going to be... one man told me that he was very disappointed. I said why? Because he expected that in one of his lives he was an emperor.
Well, I loved this topic. The truth is Meri is staying for one week. In a moment we are going to say until when she is staying, her phone number, and we will give the details of the workshop. But before that, let us go to Caro who is going to give us the astrological climate for next week, which is a little heavy, right, Caro?
Yes, well. Here we are, here we are. We are getting through it, we are getting through it, everyone. Relax, do not despair. Well, today, Friday, we have a moon in Gemini in the constellation of Punabazo. It is a super beautiful, very maternal constellation. The only thing is that the moon right now is with the sun. It is also in Gemini. And because they are so close, the sun loses strength. So maybe you are hearing that people are very tired, sleepy, with headaches. Physically they do not feel like doing anything. So it is normal, everyone, stay calm. Not much longer.
...
And thank you, Caro. Before we go, before we say goodbye, Meri is going to tell us what she is doing this week in Lima. She is staying for one week. And when will you return again, Meri?
For Easter 2019.
Wow. No, then we have to do it now. One little week. We have to make the most of Meri. How does it work?
On Wednesday I am already leaving for Barcelona for San Juan.
Okay.
And these days I will be around Lima.
Okay. We have to make the most of Meri. Tell us. How can people find you?
First I want to say that tomorrow we have a workshop.
Okay.
At the Oval in Miraflores.
At the Oval... She says at the Oval in Miraflores. I imagine it must be near Ovalo Gutierrez. Near Kennedy Park.
Near Kennedy Park.
And how... where is...
You have to go onto the website....
Well, I imagine it must also be on the website.
...
And what time is the workshop? I hope it is not at the same time as Peru's match or nobody will go.
What time does the match end?
....
Well, anyone who likes this topic...
This. We will celebrate together, we will go to past lives of glory.
We are going to Paolo's past life, what do you think?
And to find you, if people want personal sessions, you go to their home, right?
Yes. And we can also arrange it at a distance.
Perfect. There it is.
...
And in any case, if someone is watching and knows me, they can write to us and ask us and I will pass on the contact. No problem at all. But if you have that curiosity, because for many people it starts as curiosity, or if you are really interested in understanding some things that are happening in your life right now, regressions are the way.
For next year I also promise a giveaway and more.
We will hold a conference, a conference at the National Stadium.
Why not?
Well, everyone, thank you so much for being here. As Renato and I always say every Friday, our mission is to open doors toward these paths of healing inward, which are not always in every store, we do not see them out on the street. So, Yogadictos, that is the mission of Yogadictos. To open these doors so you can find all the holistic healing alternatives that exist, and there are a lot of them, and Meri is one of them.
If I may add just one piece of information, the two workshops I gave in Lima happened thanks to the organization Internations, which is an international organization of foreigners and people who live here. It is about making friends, learning languages, and they do everything from visits to exhibitions, going to restaurants, dancing, and even workshops.
Very nice, they told me about it, actually. I met Meri through this organization because a friend of mine is there, and she told me they hold gatherings and that you choose, right? Which gathering you want to go to? They organize dinners, yes, yes, super interesting.
...
Well, everyone, thank you so much. Rena, if you are watching us, I love you very much, I missed you, your place is right there. Happy birthday. And that is it, next Friday there it is, there it is, look, you can see my graffiti. And next Friday we will see each other here, Yogadictos, for another spectacular program. We love you all very much, have a happy weekend. Goodbye!
