Thank you for being here with me, it's like a weekly date with friends, so it's very pleasant.
Today we talk about money. I believe there isn't a single person who doesn't worry about money. It doesn't matter how much money we have or don't have: it's one of life's worries. For some, the worry is losing it; for others, earning it; and for others, what to do with that money. Karma seems like punishment, and many people talk about karma as if it were punishment, but it's not. Karma is a consequence of our actions. It's like a boomerang that you send out at one moment and it can come back to your life immediately, later, or even in another life. This is the point of our karma — working through lessons we haven't learned, and one of those lessons can be money, and this lesson may go from one life to another until it is resolved.
So like other types of karma, this karma also has many steps and many nuances, because not only do we join karma — we have our individual karma. All of this about karma, I usually explain it like a magical Rubik's cube. You already know it, it's a well-known game, with six colors, with many small cubes inside, and you have to arrange it so that each cube has its color.
So it's not easy, and sometimes it's much more intuition than logic. The same happens with karma.
So not only do we have to fit our own karma, but at the same time we gain karma from every moment of our lives — with our thoughts, our actions, our desires — all of this enters into karma in a way because it carries energy. Even our desires carry their own energy. Then we have family karma that can carry good or bad money karma, and sometimes they say "but everyone in his family earns money, only he doesn't." And then he helps other family members. It's because he entered with his individual karma of not being able to earn money into a family with money, so he could learn from his own family.
But sometimes he learns, and sometimes due to his own ego he believes he's the only one who knows and others don't. Then we also have money karma of the whole nation, and a nation can be in enormous debt for centuries and centuries, and another nation does well until at some point its economy collapses — like what's happening now to all countries, entering into a karma of debts.
But it's not that we're entering now, it's that we're paying now for things that, as nations, we did previously. And it's very interesting that right now I'm in India where I'm learning a lot about the karma of money and wealth.
And I too have carried this problem my whole life.
So sometimes we can think that money karma is only from childhood, only from this life. Because before, when I only dedicated myself to therapy, to psychology, I found an explanation for my problem with money. Because I always had trouble charging, I never had trouble earning or working. There were even times when I worked three different jobs to support my two children and to pay for all schooling and expenses as a single mother. And I couldn't manage it because precisely when clients asked me "and how much do I pay you," I would say "whatever you can, whatever you think you can give me." I didn't know how to set my fee and say "look, my fee has to be this, this."
But at first I accepted what they gave me — a minimum — and after three months when everyone said "oh, how good she was, how well you work,"
I would then struggle to increase it and it was too late. And then your work — afterward it's more complicated.
So when I normalized my childhood situation, I understood. Because my mother earned a lot, my parents had been separated since I was a baby, a year and a half old.
So my mother earned a lot, but she lived a liberal life by the understanding of Serbia from before those years. And my father, who carried those family values and was married to another woman, he would always say things that I later recognized in myself — because he would repair things, he had appliances, he would fix appliances and never say his price. "Ah, it's easy, no, don't worry. We'll sort this out." And when the work was done, it was "whatever you can." Because he knew others didn't have much either. So I grew up with three, three, two influences. Of a lot of money but not so many values, and of many values but very little money. And so I always struggled. If I set a price that I deserve and my true value, then I go against the values of others. And this is a struggle that I thought came from this life.
But later, when I started working with past lives and when I found my past lives, I found a pattern that goes from one life to another.
So in Africa, in the same century, I lived a life as a slave. As a very young girl I married my best friend to save myself from the fate of being taken by force by the owner of all slaves. And I had no money, I had food to eat, I had a place to sleep, I had love. Much more my state than love — because it was an arranged marriage — and I had no money. Next life in the same country, in the same place, I was... in one life a slave and in another life an owner, wealthy. I didn't need to earn money and I didn't need to put value on my work.
And I came to this life to learn and I'm still struggling with the same thing. If I put a high value on myself, if I go against the values of others, and if I put very little value on myself, then I go against myself. So I understand all people. But here in India, I encountered another type of karma and another type of values, where family value and tradition operate over individual value and tradition, where a person individually doesn't exist, doesn't have their own worth, only if they are useful to the family. You cannot value yourself, you cannot have your own life because then you can't value yourself — only as a piece of the family. And I also encountered the vow of poverty. Until now, I never saw it, I heard about it or read about it, but I didn't understand what a family's vow of poverty means. And now I have a case where a family member can break the karma, can recover the family's economic situation, and go another way.
But out of moral and traditional religious obligation to continue the same as other family pieces, this person doesn't dare because it doesn't exist in their value system — the value that you can do something different from all tradition and religion. They don't understand that sometimes breaking a pattern can change your path. They don't know how to get out of this spiral because they don't understand the value of created money versus borrowed money, and they simply leave themselves in the hands of God and destiny. So there, where people believe destiny is something that cannot be changed, it's very difficult to help, because any money that is simply left is lost — they don't understand the value of money.
So I also understood in our society that has extremes — that money must have its value, even if it's a gift. You have to put value on it to understand it, because often people who have nothing but only receive, because they are poor, also don't put value on this money because they believe that others who have more than them have an obligation and they have a right — an entitlement to receive. That's one face of a karmic problem with money. And another karma that can exist is that one doesn't believe they deserve to receive a gift of money, to receive gifts of value.
But there enters a lack of self-recognition of your own values. So, through my own karmic situations and all my encounters with clients or friends — sometimes they're not clients, they're friends where I analyze and try from the outside to help as a friend — but often people don't believe it. When you explain this from a karmic point of view, people don't believe it's like that. They say "no, it's just destiny, it has nothing to do with karma. It's that God wants us to be poor and people have to help us." And it's not like that, because karma can always be changed. And the moment you change your own consciousness about money and about your life and your values, then karma begins to change. We are all linked here as a type of spiritual energy, like a soul that enters a body — as I always say, it always rents its own vehicle for this life.
So we enter a new body and we go with our brain, our ego, our soul, in our car which is our body, and we are traveling through this life.
So every moment we create new karma, every moment we solve old karma or increase it.
So every day is a new beginning. And if we have many problems and if we go to bed saying "I can't take anymore," we have to think that truly tomorrow the sun rises anew and life starts fresh again, and we never know who we might meet or what idea might come to our mind and heart. It's very important that when an idea about money comes, this idea fits well with heart and brain. If it only fits in the brain — only earn, earn, earn — but doesn't fit with the values you have in your heart, what your soul truly wants, this money won't come, because it's like between two points and it cannot reach its destination. And about money I've had different cases, different clients — some give too much value, too much importance to money, and others give very little or none. And both are mistakes. I saw both through my life and contacts, and I saw both through client cases.
So when in a life you are giving too much importance to money and you use money in a way not aligned with your higher values, it can happen — in another life or in the current life — that you find yourself with no money or with things being very, very difficult.
So it's very important to find the problems and understand in which life they started and how they manifest in this life. Because sometimes they change form — it can be subtle, it can be drastic — but they change form despite coming from the same origin in a past life. So, a problem with money can even cause problems with your own family.
I had a client from Colombia who has a lot of money, who owns a huge company, but has problems with her ex-husband and her children. The children are already grown, in their twenties, they've finished their studies. When she divorced, they were 18, 19 years old, but over the years they grew closer to their father than to her. And she suffers a lot. And she has a lot of financial losses. Despite having a lot of money, there's always a hole where this money goes.
So she manages to have a very good economic situation, but she doesn't understand why the money goes like that. And there's always someone who deceives her, always someone who steals from her. And she's not happy either. She fit all the questions I asked. She was my model for asking about money and karma in a single person. So when I did the session with her, it was very interesting that she brought her best friend to witness the session.
And I told her it's better for her to be alone. Because sometimes there are things we might be ashamed of, but not in front of ourselves. This is seen as a movie, despite things we might see that are frightening and unpleasant.
But if someone else watches this, and this reaches another person, it could be that later in the future you have regrets because this person knows these details. So I don't recommend this. It's another thing to share later — even if you record, you can share the recording.
But it's one thing to have someone present while you're living it.
But she wanted a witness to verify what I do with her.
So that was the first sign that she doesn't trust people. Even the expert she works with, she's distrustful.
So I thought, maybe you also distrust your own children, your own family. And okay, we started. And the first thing she saw was a life in Mesopotamia before Christ. And she saw that all the people were fleeing from the sea toward the mountain, and she was the only one going in the other direction. She was midway and she turned back toward the sea. And we see a huge wave from the sea — it was like an earthquake, a tsunami that rose up and began flooding all the land. And people didn't know if they would survive — whoever reaches the mountain would survive.
And I said, "But where are you going? Everyone is going in one direction and you're going the opposite." And she said, "But you don't understand — in my shop, how much money I left behind. If I leave it, the sea will take everything, nothing will be left for me."
And I said, "And your life?" And yes, she lost her life there in the tsunami, another life lost. We saw two more lives where she valued money more than her own life — not just the lives of others, her own life.
Okay, we went to the future. I usually ask the person to go five years ahead, because it's a period where you can see changes, but they're not so drastic as to say "no" or "it's not possible."
But often people say it's not possible, but it's something that can be understood.
But in some cases we enter another future — either much later in this life, or another life, or much further ahead. She went to three thousand years from now. In three thousand years we have flying cars, and they use cars that travel on the ground too. We have crystal cities like in movies. They say that all artists receive — I say receive because I'm also a writer — we receive signs of the future as it will be. And artists have knowledge that seems like mere imagination, but up to 100, 200, 300 years or more in advance. Because they have more connection to our collective subconscious and can, through intuition and imagination, have images of the future. Which at this moment seem impossible.
So we saw her as a man now — because we can change gender from one life to another. A very strong man sitting at a desk in a very modern office, all glass, all transparent. And when we checked his bank account — accounts don't exist like now — but just by putting it on a television screen, very, very high numbers came up.
So looking around her — him, because he was a man — to see if there was any photo, anything of family. Nothing. And she said very proudly, "No, no, no, I am a successful man, I am president of an intergalactic foundation. I am very successful, very wealthy." I asked "And do you have a family?" and he was a 50-year-old man who said "No, why share?" So we went back and then we started psychological analysis and coaching, coaching guidance to see what she truly wants in her life. And she told me she wants a little more stability with money — it always comes and goes despite maintaining good income — and she wants closeness with her children.
And I tell her, "And what you've seen of the past and future — doesn't it give you an idea, a clue, a code, where the error is?" And she says "Error? I don't make errors. You manipulated this so I would see it. I don't even remember what I saw." I say, "Okay, but we have it recorded. It was in your own words, they weren't my words. I only added details to what I see." "No, no, no. I don't know how you manipulated me, but I certainly didn't live this, and this future surely won't be like that. I give you success, but it won't be like that." So she was very, very stubborn in saying this. And okay, we didn't finish.
And I can't force anything. You can't help anyone. They say help only arrives if someone wants to be helped. We finished and she tells me, "You're lucky I'm good and I'll pay you despite you doing a bad session." At that moment, I felt like saying "I don't want your money," but then I thought — but Meri, again, you're going to say your work has no value. Again, you're falling into it.
And I was in my own error.
So I stayed quiet, she paid me, she was very angry. I was hurt, she was angry. And then, I'm preparing to leave and she says, "But do you have time? What are you going to do today?" Because it was morning. "I have nothing, I have no more sessions, I have free time." And she says, "You see, in three towns near each other I have properties, I have three properties, and I'd like — if you want — you might feel something." So she doesn't believe me in the session, but she believes I can feel something about her properties, and then she invited me to eat together. So we spent the whole afternoon together, we ate together, we went to her birthplace and saw three houses — in one, when she left the house for a weekend, burglars entered and took not only furniture but even pulled the sockets out of the walls. They left only walls and doors. And then, talking outside of the session and outside of witnesses, talking mother to mother, little by little speaking about her children, her relationship, we arrived at her problem: she's terrified that if she doesn't have money to give to her children, she's not a good mother.
So we needed to work on her relationship with her own mother, who had been very poor and never left her money.
So I proposed this work — this is emotional work that we do apart from this session, where relationships and family values are healed.
But she didn't want to. She thanked me a lot, she told me she understood that because of money she is losing her family and that she needs to work a lot on one thing and another — her relationship with her parents and her relationship with her children.
But I was happy — it doesn't matter that she didn't want to continue, I was happy that at least she clarified the origin of her problems, and that it doesn't originate only in this life, that it goes way back, and that it will continue if she doesn't change — she truly will become a very successful man but without a family. And she will think "it's my destiny, I don't need family, I only need to earn lots of money and be very famous and successful."
So things like this happen in my world. There are people within families — I also had a case from a European country where, when we talked about the relationship with parents, what they told me about their relationship with their children was: "We're very good parents, everything they need and everything they want, we buy." So it was like a definition of the parent-child relationship that is a transaction — "I buy, and I'm a good father or mother."
So there's a lot of confusion within families about values and a lot of confusion about money. Another thing about money that is very important, as in other matters of our life, is gratitude.
Sometimes we may have just enough money to eat. I say, sometimes I can be happy just for having tea and clean water, and I understood this in these four years of travel. That often people believe they are happy for having clean water, and those of us who have it don't understand that we should be grateful for it, but very soon in the future we will feel the lack of clean water on this planet, and it's better to start now, saying from time to time "I thank the universe for having water that I can drink."
And I was very clear about this in theory when I lived in Barcelona, but when I started traveling, when I started having my own experiences and seeing other families — from wealthy families to families in enormous misery — I understood that you have to be grateful even for a glass of water and a glass of tea, because a day may come when you have only that for three days.
When it comes to money, it's about loving yourself and loving others because destiny gives to you. When you are grateful for whatever kind of abundance — even a glass of water — more glasses of water will come.
Someone is about to ask something.
It doesn't mean that you have to repay all the debt yourself, but you can find a way to help other family members to help so that all of you together do it.
But it's a good deed, it's a karmic act that gives you positive karma for your future, and it can be immediate or for another life. It's not that you're stuck with karma — your karmic solutions aren't just about giving. I don't know the situation, but if there are other family members, you should find a way together, and if others are poorer and can't give as much as you, they can still participate.
If you give a thousand, others can give 100 or 10 — it doesn't matter, according to what they can earn, they can give or help in another way.
So cleaning karma and resolving it is not just about taking out money and paying — it's an act that has value — but you also need to work on changing your mentality about money so that your family doesn't fall into this debt again.
Because surely the father didn't do it just for himself — the father went into debt to support the family, and they in turn don't know how to get out of this debt. So see it as positive, because one goes from one extreme to another while thinking they were growing — so if they didn't learn, they return.
Look, we humans think it's a regression, but in reality it's like taking this lesson more deeply, learning it in another way. Sometimes you have to see it from another point, from another angle, and often we go from one life to another extreme or within the same life we go from one extreme to another — which also happened to me — but you don't understand it at that moment.
They say that life can never be understood looking forward. Life is always understood backward, analyzing it once it has passed and once all your pain, anger, feelings have been filtered. When they are filtered and begin to be neutral — it doesn't matter if it's about money, relationships, or health.
Then we begin... so it's never a regression. It can be a repetition, it can be deepening, it can be clarifying. You shouldn't see it as a regression because I know that many friends from Europe think that me being in India — since I was already in India once and now I'm staying longer — for them they think it's better to be in Europe.
But I don't see it as a setback, I don't see it as a regression, I see it as a deepening. I deepen — besides making my personal life and learning my personal lessons — I also deepen my understanding of money and economy and poverty because I see an extreme that I could never see in America, Mexico, or Europe.
It's an extreme where here a family may have to live on one euro a day if they're lucky, and the rich live on two hundred euros a day without thinking about others. So it's something that shocks me, and my friends see it as a setback because you have to be there when you'd be better off in Europe, but I see that spiritually and also as an expert in past lives and karma, I learn a lot.
I am grateful to the universe, and through me you will also teach others because I can speak about this, so we gain a lot in other ways.
Someone else. I know someone who has always been very prosperous, but throughout his life about four or five people from his own family or people who worked with him — who were almost family because they worked so long together — every time it happened, they left him with absolutely nothing.
And every time something like this happened, he bounced back — even selling things on the street — he resurfaces and resurfaces and becomes the same prosperous person as always. But how many times... it's been several years that he's not doing well and nothing, but I don't understand why this keeps happening to him, again and again with the same family — it's something very heavy.
You have to work on family karma first, find the pattern in their past lives, and then work on family karma because sometimes enemies from other lives join together to be within the same family.
I have another case from Mexico where a person was defrauded by her own siblings — sister and brother-in-law — and she cared for her mother for twenty years alone in the mother's house, and the mother told her the house would stay with her. But she has five siblings, and the sister and brother-in-law started a legal process to have the house divided among all of them and sold.
And it was a lawsuit that lasted eight years without any resolution. There was a will that was false, signed with a fingerprint even though the mother could write — it was signed with a fingerprint — and the judges didn't know what to do: some accepted it, others didn't, but a conclusion was never reached.
And I don't know... in this life karma came to be fulfilled very strongly, because also with other family members there were other issues. Now this doesn't mean she will lose the house — we already found help because I follow information, I'm not all-powerful, I can't solve everything, but we can understand where it comes from and how far it can go.
So we've seen where it can go if she continues like this, and where it can go if she seeks help, and we found legal help and spiritual help. So now it has stopped and it seems she can get the house to stay only for her, but she lost eight years in this conflict.
Now these family members are starting to contact her, the atmosphere is changing because she began to heal karmic relationships.
So money is not just money. Money is like a mirror of other values that you had or have, and it reflects because money, like us, is a type of energy.
And sometimes people — often, because I have energy and people talk and ask me — "But does money mean anything to you? I would like to have a million euros so that, since you're so spiritual, you could help orphanages, help friends, help families, set up a more beautiful healing center."
There is a lot of value that money can bring to our lives, and it's not a material value — it's also a spiritual, human, ethical value. So it's good to desire money, but not "I want money in my bank account" — rather "I want this much money or more to be able to do this project."
So yes, money has its own value that helps us improve our own lives and the lives of others, and this is the merit of money — not that it's destiny, but that it's another vehicle we use here.
So through this person, through this medicine, you can talk to your friend and explain that there can be many things — it's a Rubik's cube, so there are many pieces of this cube that need to be solved. It's evident that he is capable, with many skills, but he always hits a wall because he doesn't change something else — he doesn't change the pattern.
Okay, I have a question. I don't know if I come from... economically I'm fine, but I've noticed that about three months ago I joined a blessing group where I had to bless all people and things — if I was driving, instead of throwing out curses I would send blessings.
But now I'm realizing that, for example, my daughter is doing well economically, yet she says "I have no money." How can I help a person? I think maybe it was me who always used to say "I don't have money, I want to do this but I don't have money, I want to do that but I don't have money."
And now I'm seeing it with my daughters — both of them are doing well economically but they always say "I don't have money, I'm completely bankrupt," but it's not true, it's not true because if they really look at what they have, they have a lot economically and physically.
But how can I help them, how can I help them see that they're really not bankrupt, they're not poor? But they always say "I can't do that because I don't have money, no, no, no, there's no money" — but both earn very well. So why is that? Is it part of me that I've helped create?
If you've repeated these words, if you've helped educate them with the seal of never having enough and never understanding what they have, then they need to become conscious of this. You can talk to them about how everything we think and say influences us.
It's not only our actions that influence our lives, but what we think. If you take action — you need to start a project and you want to start a project but all the time it's "there's no money, I don't have enough" — in the end this project won't succeed because you've already put a foundation that can't succeed because you don't have it.
When people ask me — and here people often ask how much money you have, because people believe that all of us who come from other societies are very rich — I always say "I have enough for what I need today, I have enough."
Same for me — because men often don't understand how old I am, I'm more dynamic than my age, and they say "but how old are you really?" So I joke: "My ex-husband is 67 and my ex-boyfriend is 27, so you decide how old I am. I have enough years."
So in life you have to think and be grateful that we all have enough, but we can improve. So we have enough money and we want to improve because we want to carry out projects in our lives — these projects can be personal, they can be for family, or they can be for the nation or for a humanitarian project, whatever — we need more, but we always have enough because we're still alive.
And we don't understand that the joy is to continue and to be able to see your own abilities, because all obstacles that come our way — whether in love, health, or money — are to show us our abilities, to improve, to overcome, to learn, and that's how we must see them.
And if you start to observe your own words and your own thoughts, and whenever you say something negative — even inside your head — write it down, so that the next day you start to correct it. And once you start thinking this way, you'll see that you can influence your daughters.
But first — they say that Buddha once had a woman come to him with a very obese child, and she asked "What do I do with myself?" and he said "Come back in a month." And within a month she returns and he says "You have to stop eating sugar." And she said "Why didn't you tell me a month ago?" "I spent a month not eating sugar so I could advise you something that I myself do."
So if you continue with your negative thoughts, you cannot talk to your daughters about this. Start with yourself — a month without sugar and without negative thoughts — and then little by little start talking to them.
There are souls that struggle to evolve — for example, the client who preferred money over life. Yes, there are souls that struggle to evolve in one area of life but not another. There are souls that stay in the same situation for many lives, but there is always opportunity.
This doesn't mean that if you don't evolve you stay that way forever. Sometimes a day, a moment — as they say in enlightenment — light enters you in a moment and you become light itself and continue, and then changes happen very quickly.
It's like water that accumulates, it accumulates, but once it finds a path, the water flows, and it's very important that everything flows in life. So there are souls that have obstacles, but they can be solved from one moment to the next.
Does the inclination toward the energy of money rather than life — across all lives that see the future — lead to that future of flying cars, or do only those souls that want money and power have that future?
No, no, no, it doesn't have to do with that. The future we see is always the future that more or less awaits all of us — from this point where we are living planetary karma, it moves toward another point.
A year before the coronavirus problem started, I had a session with a client and we saw her future in five years. She is a psychologist and she saw herself in an office with crystals between her and the client, and she explained that there were ultraviolet waves, and we didn't understand anything at all — because she would work in an office like that as a psychologist.
And when the coronavirus started, she called me and said "Now I understand my future in five years." So details of the future are revealed to us, but they can't tell us all the details, or we don't know how to ask the right questions — they say for the right answer you need to ask the right question — but okay, little by little we learn.
And this about past lives — but this about a future life or your own life now — is going to become more and more regular, more normal, like a psychology session, which for now still seems very different, very outside of tradition. And so people still have fear — because sometimes they ask me "Will I get lost? Won't I come back?" So I explain that it's meditation, and if someone gets lost, no one gets lost more in meditation than in anything else.
So this future in three thousand years — we will have everything on this earth, only the population will be much smaller, reduced. This is seen in all visions of the future. And those who prefer money over life will have or will be living in that future where there are no more trees, life, or nature — and this future can be changed, look.
It doesn't mean there are no trees, life, or nature — because we were in an office in the air so we couldn't see otherwise. With other clients, yes, we have seen nature — nature exists and will exist, only whether it will be on all the earth as now — I haven't gotten that many details.
And that future can be changed — the one with flying cars and more nature — yes, it can be changed. We are at a karmic point of many changes where we will evolve as souls and as human beings, and where it's very important what we decide, what we are going to accept in this life and in these years, because these are very, very important years for our future karma.
All years are important, but now they are very critical because we are at a crossroads of humanity and at a crossroads of planet Earth — where we want to go with everything on this planet, from traditions and values to economy and human love.
So each of us has our own role within our own life, within the life of our family, our partner. One thing — when we accept a partner, we also accept the family money karma of this partner, keep that in mind. Because if they have a poor family, you have to assume that this poverty also comes with you and that you need to help change this karma.
And it shows one face of money, so it joins with your karma — you can influence it and it influences you too. So this is very important. It doesn't have to be to say no or yes, it doesn't have to be decisive, but you have to take it into account — if you have enough strength to assume it. Because if you assume it in the moment only for love, and within two years you say "I'm tired of assuming their family's karma," that's not nice.
It's better to know at the moment of making your own decision. You can call me and we can talk, you can leave your contact, so we can talk and analyze the situation. I hope I've been of service, that it's been useful to contact me. There's someone who just sent... okay, there's one more question: "Can you change the karma of money?" Because just like other karmas — as you like to say — there are ways to change karma and learn from it. Only sometimes we can learn by ourselves, and sometimes we need someone who can help us.
